Migration of dozens of face-to-face courses to online
Aldeia is a coworking and continuing education space focused on the New Economy, with courses such as SDR, Customer Success, and UX, among others.
Problem:
With a years-long market tradition with its in-person courses, Aldeia found itself faced with the pandemic in 2020, having to create a series of online courses, maintaining its focus on the New Economy while adapting its brand and footprint to online. There were 30+ face-to-face courses and 20,000+ students.
Solution:
We created an educational platform on a new subdomain to separate from the institutional website, using LearnDash, BuddyBoss, and Woocommerce as the main engines. For content, we called influential and important people in the market for a marathon of live courses that would be recorded and made available on the platform.
Tech stack
- LearnDash
- BuddyBoss
- Woocommerce
- Divi
Twelve online courses created in a few weeks.
We did two live-course marathons over three months. Everything was designed so that they were recorded on Google Meet and made available on the platform in a way that didn’t just look like a recorded course, with no value for asynchronous students.
We invited teachers already preparing them to create materials that were adjusted to asynchronous mode. In this way, we created 12 online courses in record time.
In this way, we divide the courses into “steps”, each covering a different aspect of the professions we cover, such as employability, career paths, tools, etc.
