Translation into English

Philipp Elmer is an Austrian platform for courses on Automic software, a complex service orchestration and automation software in ERP, business applications, microservices, and multi-cloud. They call themselves the world’s most interactive Automic learning platform.

Problem:

Having been a customer for some time and dominant in the German language, they wanted to expand their business to the English-speaking market. Their platform had more than 200 courses, so they would have to start recreating the courses, so the platform should be a little simpler.

Solution:

Our suggestion to create a brand was accepted and we proceeded with the website redesign. We then duplicated the site to apply the new identity while translating the content.

Tech stack

  • LearnDash
  • ACF
  • Elementor
  • Uncanny Toolkit
  • H5P
  • Genially
  • LocoTranslate

A new platform for English speakers.

While the translation process was more laborious than difficult, this project was interesting in adapting the brand to the new identity, together with the selection of the features that we were going to maintain, aiming to adapt the system to a platform that would initially lack a library. Therefore, we removed the course filters and course search system, as we would start with a few courses.

One of the things maintained was the track system, in which we organized the courses according to professions, to make it easier for people to understand the order in which the content should be taken. It is a very simple and useful system.
